If you use an apple cider vinegar rinse on your hair?

What exactly do you do. I’ve been reading up on it but I am still not 100% sure and I want to make sure I do it right. So when you get in the shower, is it recommended that you use it before or after shampooing? I’ve heard some say before and some say after. Which would be better? And do you use conditioner afterwards? I read somewhere that you aren’t supposed to use conditioner. I really prefer to use it whenever I wash my hair so would that mess up what the ACV is doing? Also, how does it make your hair feel? I have dark uncolor-treated hair that tends to get very oily but I don’t want to dry out my hair or make it feel brittle.

simonbuntin answers:

Make your own vinegar after-shampoo hair rinse by mixing 1/3 of a cup (75 ml) of ACV into a quart (1 liter) of water. You can then store this mixture in a plastic bottle and keep it in the shower for ready use.

Apply the vinegar rinse after shampooing and then rinse it all out, or for extra conditioning, you can leave the rinse on your hair. This natural hair care product can be used once or twice a week or more often as needed.

By infusing various herbs into the vinegar rinse, you can enhance different hair colors and condition hair at the same time.

For oily hair, recommended herbs to use with apple cider vinegar include Lavender, Thyme, Witch Hazel, Yarrow.

A procedure for making your own acv herbal hair rinse can be found in the reference below.

After shampoo. It is supposed to restore the acid mantle to your scalp and give your hair shine. Mix the vinegar 1 part to 1 with COLD water for a very strong mix or 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water for a weak solution. 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water is what my wife recommends. Cold water will close the cuticles of your hair. To make the vinegar smell nice add a sprig of rosemary.

Apples contain special acids which may help neutralize the acids in your stomach, but after a while you just go back you feeling the same way again. If you are having trouble sleeping try sleeping on your left side because it causes your stomach to go lower than your esophagus so acid cant flow into it. I have tried lots of cures for my acid reflux (which I later found out was actually Acid Reflux Disease) some of the things that helped me were baking soda, pickle juice, lemon juice.

apple cider vinegar and stomach acid???

So, several people have told me about several benefits of drinking a little bit of apple cider vinegar mixed with water.

I was curious and read a few things online about it. Only I’m confused… one thing that I read is that it is supposed to reduced acid reflux? How would drinking an acid reduce acid reflux? Shouldn’t it do the opposite? I know chemically “like disolves like” so that’s a possiblity. BUT I also read in the same dang article that it aids in digestion because you have more stomach acid to break things down… which is it???

simonbuntin answers:

Well Apple Cider Vinegar is a weaker acid than stomach acid. So the theory is that drinking it will lower the overall pH of your stomach acid, while still allowing for digestion of food.

Hope this helps.

I drink up to 6 tablespoons (2 tablespoons at a time up to 3 x’s a day) of UNFILTERED ORGANIC Apple Cider Vinegar a day and have for over 5 years—it MUST be UNFILTERED to have healing effects. I equalize it first with a pinch of baking soda and a dash of water before knocking it back. I add the baking soda to the vinegar and rinse with water afterwards to prevent damage to my teeth.

I just had a physical and no indications of osteoporosis (…and I don’t drink milk) and my potassium levels were fine. This simple product has given me my life back—-I SUFFERED from rheumatoid arthritis (pain, pain, pain; chronic fatigue; barely able to bend knees to walk, let alone climb stairs) and saved me from having to take prescribed narcotics, cortisone shots, etc., etc., — and this is coming from someone who has no problem with the idea of “better living through chemistry” but for a chronic condition—-ugh! Not to mention the expense when one hasn’t any health insurance.

The “side affects” of the unfiltered ACV have been glowing skin, increased energy, lack of depression, and on and on.

I’ve had acid reflux since I was a little kid, and I’m a freaking stick…so you being overweight isn’t the reason why you have it..although the foods you eat that contribute to your weight also probably contribute to the acid reflux, if you have it.

What problems are you having exactly?

You’ve gotta explain your symptoms more. Like alot of people get heartburn…I’ve actually only experienced heartburn once for 3 days. Usually I just feel really nauseous, especially at night. When I was younger I used to throw up all the time.

When I had that heartburn, I went to my doctor and she told me to take Prilosec, it’s otc so you can try that. I had to take that for a few months to clear up my heartburn and my nightly tummy aches..while I was taking it I stopped eating everything I wasnt supposed to be eating; spicy foods, citrusy foods, greasy foods, chocolate, caffeine, etc. …not drinking caffeine is the worst! But…go look up a list of what you shouldnt eat, and try staying away from that stuff for a while and see if your symptoms clear up.

how did you deal with letting your baby cry it out?

I am a first time mommy of a 4 1/2 month old baby. I am going crazy waking up between 4-10 times a night. I am getting no sleep and getting worn thin. Naps aren’t really possible since by baby is psychic and knows to wake up as soon as my head will hit the pillow for a nap. I know that I am going to have to start the cry out method soon, and was just wondering how you dealt with having to do it? And I know peoples opinions about it but this is what I am choosing to do as all the babies I have know (just about all that are in my family) have turned out just fine when it was done with them.
Anyways my questions are:
How did you change your routine?
How long did it take to be a success?
How was it on you emotionally?
Did you regret doing it this way?
How do I get my LO to quit being comforted only by the bottle?
What things worked and what didn’t?
Your answers are greatly appreciated. I have a high needs baby with the following:colic, acid reflux, excessive gas, so motherhood has not been an easy or very enjoyable thing and I am hoping that these answers may help to ease it up a bit. Thanks!!
That is funny that the first answer got thumbs down since it was the most helpful one I have received. I know that people are entitled to their opinions but I don’t need lectures about not doing CIO. I am not a stupid person and as much as you guys want to say it the CIO method is not going to teach my child not to trust me. In child development you learn the theories of child behavior and letting your child cry and not always going to their side teaches them to trust you more and to not freak out when you are not quickly there. You can still believe how you want but don’t lecture me about it. And it can’t be that hard on your baby or since it was my pediatrician, who is wonderful by the way, who suggested it. Basically all I am trying to say is that I wasn’t asking for the lectures, I was asking those who have been through it for their ideas on how to make it better. So tons of thumbs up to number one since you and maybe 1 or 2 others actually paid attention to my question. Thanks!

Wow you sound just like me and my husband our sons first year! We finally started CIO with our son at about 10 months (waaaaay over due!) I think that 4 months is a good time to start tho! The only Way my son could go to sleep was on the breast of being rocked. We tried “The No Cry Sleep Solution” but it didn’t work!

When we began Landon was still nursing to sleep, so at 8PM we would lay him down and leave. The next he woke up (3-4 hours later) we would go in there and pick him up just to calm him down for a min then lay him back down and walk away. He would cry and we would go up ever 20 min or so and calm him down, and then start all over again. We never let him go more than 2 hours crying. After 2 nights, after crying for about an hour, it worked!!! It was amazing!!! I jumped up and down I was so excited. After that first night of finally going to sleep after crying he would go to sleep after shorter times. After about 5 days he really started sleeping!

Since your baby is so young, s/he might not be so stubborn, so it might go faster! As for how to deal with it, its never easy. But I had my husband to stay up with me and we kept the monitor on low and would watch TV in a different room. And it gets easier. Landon even started taking much better naps! And now he is a wonderful sleep. I wish I had done it early. After he learned how to go to sleep in the middle of the night I didnt have to rock him to sleep for naps or nighttime either!

And I agree with you; CIO is not a terrible horrible thing! It just took me so long to finally do it because some nights it was just easy to get up, feed him, and go back to bed. If I have another child, as soon as it turns 4 months and s/he’s not sleeping thru the night, we’re CIO!!! I suggest to everyone that they do it!

Pillows Pillows and more Pillows! I did this for about 2 weeks, and then my son just had a cold and was stuffy so I did if for about 5 nights. I had a pregnancy pillow, it was expensive but well worth it. Then I have a body pillow and 3 others too. What I did was wrap the pregnancy pillow around my, fold the body pillow in half add another pillow on top of that, and then the extra two I used to put under my arms… It isn’t the greatest nights sleep (my son is 5 months and I don’t think I have had a good nights sleep in about 8 months!) He doesn’t eat much when he does feed, he’ll only do one breast for a few minutes and that’s it. He recently started doing this and I don’t know what’s wrong.

Alright my son was the same exact way. He would scream all the time and i didnt know what was wrong. He wasnt colic but it turns out that he had acid reflux disease. He was getting heartburn along with it and he had a lot of gas which was making him very cranky. Take him for an Upper GI Series. That will tell you if he has acid reflux or not. It might also be that the milk isnt coming out fast enough for him. But i highly doubt that at this point. Try and give him some infant gas drops and get as many burps out as you can. It will probably take a while, but its worth it. Good luck. I know it can be frustrating, hang in there.

I’m sorry your having to deal with reflux. My 5 month old has severe reflux and its a horrible thing to deal with.

We swaddled her in a swaddle me blanket and then put her in a boppy pillow and that in the bassinet. I propped up the opposite end of the bassinet so she wouldn’t slide out of the boppy. She slept soo well for the first 5 months but has now outgrown the boppy so we’re at a loss again!!

As for naps she did great in the swing, bouncer and car seat. Some reflux mommies I know just had their baby in the carseat in their room for the first couple of months.

Baby’s ears stick out from sleeping on back?

Ok… I’m sure someone out there will think I’m crazy for asking this, but here goes it anyway.

Our son (4.5 months old) has slept on his back, propped up, because of severe acid reflux and a condition called pyloric stenosis since he’s been born. The back of his head has flattened from it… and his cute little ears stick out so far that we’re getting worried for him. They actually tip downward a little. We’re wondering if the flattening of the back of his head isn’t making this worse. Does anyone out there know?

When we go to bed at night, his head is to the side. But, he somehow always ends up on his flat spot again – regardless of repositioning attempts like placing things under one side of his head, putting something to one side for him to look at, even buying a positioning pillow (which didn’t help at all) – and, he always ends up on the back of his little head!

So, I guess my question is, is the flattening of his head causing his sweet little ears to grow funny? If so, does anyone have any ideas to help both the head problem and the ear problem? I wish the little guy could just sleep on his side safely!

simonbuntin answers:

Yes, it can. And also you should try to do something about the flattening of the head. If it gets really bad, it can start to change the alignment of heis face too! Boppy sells a pillow through pottery barn, I think I have the site, that will releive the pressure off that spot. And keep the baby off his head as much as you can during that day!

I got it and I think it helps. It says not to use it at night, but if your baby isn’t rolling around, you should be fine. I use it at night, also I use it when ever I changer diapers, in her swing, bouncy, and stroller!

Cause of acid reflux, sore throat and swollen right lymph node?

I nearly never get sick (maybe 4 times in 10 years), yet recently I have been having some odd issues.

It began with severe acid reflux (severe to me), so bad it felt like battery acid in my throat. Days later I got a sore throat. Now I have a swollen and tender lymph node under my right jaw. This has all remained for a good week or two and is beginning to worry me.

Is there anything I can take (OTC please, as I have no health insurance) to remedy these issues? All three issues are new to me, but they are kicking my butt. I’m awake @ 3am right now because sleeping is near impossible, I just toss and turn all night long. It really gets bad when the acid reflux kicks in (almost always at night, sometimes early morning).

Today my sore throat isn’t as bad, but the acid is still there and my right lymph node began to hurt. What is going on with me? How do I fix it?

Well he should have done an endoscopy to rule out GERDS if its not. If it is he needs to put you on some kind of medication. Coughing is a symptom but that also is a symptom of asthma which is induced by GERDS. Believe it or not GERDS is a condition that should be treated properly. Bc it can cause damage in the long run. So he needs to start running some tests and stop with the princess shit some DRs do bc theyre lazy. GERDS can come and go depending on foods you eat also….smoking will worsen it as well as acidic foods and eating before bed. I had to stop smoking bc of our lovely friend acid reflux i have asthma bc i wasnt taking proper care of myself. Also sleeping on your left side and elevating your head will help if you have bad heartburn. Idk i hope this info helped

Sore Throat / Throat Ulcer: Hurts more when I wake up, could it be acid reflux?

I’ve had a sore throat for over a week now, and the pain was just getting worse. I went to an ENT and it turns out I have a big throat ulcer. For some reason, it hurts a lot more when I first wake up every morning. Could this be because of acid reflux or something? Is acid getting into my throat while I sleep? And maybe that’s what’s causing the ulcer to stick around for so long? If so, what can I do to help this? I just want this throat ulcer to go away so I can go on with my life. Would it help if I just took a Zantac before I went to bed each night? Any other suggestions on what this could be or ways to treat acid reflux if that’s what it is?

The ENT should have been able to tell you or at least suggest some additional tests. If you do have acid reflux, Nexium is a good prescription to help with that. There are many other things you can do to reduce the stomach acids. Don’t eat 2-3 hours before going to bed. Prop the head of your bed up 4-6 inches. Don’t just add pillows.

Also, if you snore a lot, that could be contributing to the problem.

How can i cure white tongue, with sore throat/mouth caused by acid reflux?

I have had acid reflux for years and ive never had it this bad. I take prolosec otc once a day, or at least when i remember to, pepcid, and i try to eat healthy. A week ago the roof of my mouth started hurting and looked discolored, that discoloration was tracing back to my throat which also hurts a lot. Its like a greyish color when i shine a light up in my mouth. I noticed tonight i have white tongue with red bumps starting small and as you were to look more towards the back of my mouth the bumps get bigger and more swollen. My guess is the reflux got really bad and overtime burned my tongue severely but im not doctor to assume thats the case.
Actually it takes 30 to 90 days for it to clear your system, depending on how much you have smoked and how much body fat you have.

The only thing you can do is drink plenty of water (booze wont helt at all) so start drinking water daily (gallon) and another gallon of unsweetend tea.

You also need to go to gnc an get some nicine pills (help cleans the system of mary jane) and pop a few daily. Just go up to the counter and tell them you need to clean weed out of your system. Lol trust me… They get it all the time and know what to give you

if they are taking a hair sample, you are screwed. The tricks of washing in vinager to strip the hair does not work. And if you shave your head, they will take hair from underarms, legs, then pubic hair.

I work at a drug rehab center… I know the tricks

Vegetarians please help me?

They do not understand and I just want to take care of myself and be healthy because i do not want to have health problems in the future. How do i remain focused, sometimes I crave for fast food sandwiches but i try my best to ignore them even though there are plenty next to my job and school. I use mypyramid.gov everyday to check my calories and servings per grain, fruit, vegetable etc, It helps alot because I go by what they require and i get smiley faces and stuff it is so cool but what can i make to eat, also i love sub way, and there is one a few seconds away from where i work, if i do go there, what do i order? so basically what do you guys eat, I want to stay away from ALL MEAT, fatty foods, dairy, and all the stuff that’s bad for you? also do you guys eat fries, idk help me? MY sister has been a vegan for 18 years and she put tofu in everything, that i cannot do, I am and can remain a vegetarian but maybe later on in life i will be a vegan but right now i just want to work on maintaining my vegetarian status, thanks and please don’t be afaird to tell me where you buy your foods and what you guys eat every day. Me i eat tofu, but i like it fried but i usually cook it on the stove top or bake it, because oil is not my friend, i eat alot of vegetables but sometimes i ran out of options oh i also eat like a whole bag of sun-dried prunes in a day sometimes but it does not make me do number 2, is that normal?

Seriously, just do some research. There are a million healthy vegetarian foods and options out there.

Lentils? Chickpeas? Nuts? Nut butters? Seitan-based meat replacers? Beans? There’s so many ways to get protein. Silken tofu can be blended into smoothies. You can bake firm tofu with barbecue sauce, or eat tofu-based burgers or hot dogs. You can eat low-fat cheeses like old parmesan and low-fat ricotta.

Vegweb is a great resource for meal ideas – they’re vegan, so they’re mostly low-fat:

simonbuntin answers:

Lemon juice- supposedly, it is ACIDIC outside of the body, BUT ALKALINE inside the body –> Actually, this is somewhat true (albeit simplified) — the citrate is metabolized to bicarbonate. However, in acid reflux, it’s the acidity of the stomach contents we’re focused on, not the blood. Remember that the GI tract is “outside” the body….hence lemon juice will not help acid reflux.

Why is it that they say apple cider will help? —> “They” don’t have any evidence and no logical reasoning to support the idea. Not likely to provide any benefit.

Green tea —> Actually, a Japanese study found that green tea was one of many factors associated with acid reflux…. Certainly it is reasonable to wonder whether green tea is a causative factor (which the study design is not able to tease out) or simply being used by individuals suffering from acid reflux (and thus would be expected to be used more frequently than non-acid reflux sufferers). Interesting findings nonetheless.

Many prescription and nonprescription medications have proven efficacy and safety data and years of experience in millions of patients. Just a thought….

You can, however, use Apple Cider Vinegar (2 Tablespoons) in 6 oz. Of lukewarm water and 1 Teaspoon of honey to eradicate the acid. You can also use a tablespoon of Chlorophyll in a 6 oz glass of water. Either will turn your stomach from acid to alkaline which is the actual culprit here. The things that cause acid reflux are: stress, tomatoes, pickles, sugar, alcohol, poor quality fats, (Sesame oil and a good Extra Virgin Olive Oil should be the only oils used) and other triggers that are individual. Watch what you eat and see what affects you. If you can stop eating the things that cause it, you’ll get a handle on it. Good luck!

A teaspoon of vinigear it tastes horrible yes but it works wonders. You see if you put acid into your stomach your brain tells your stomach to stop producing acid so you can eliminate acid production by actually putting acid in there if that makes sense

How much Apple Cider Vinegar in the bath tub for a Yeast Infection.?

I am allergic to the monistat etc, so I looked up home remedies and found that apple cider vinegar works very well. I have read to put it in a warm to hot bath water and bath with it. I bought Braggs organic raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the “mother”. They say that works best.
Fill a bathtub with just enough warm, not hot, water to create a sitz bath (enough water to cover your groin and just up to your belly). Add 2 cups of raw apple cider vinegar and sit in the bath with your knees folded toward your body (not stretched out flat). You can stay in this bath mixture for 15 minutes. Gently pat dry and make sure you are very dry before putting any clothes on. Wear only cotton underpants, preferably washed in natural unscented detergent.

simonbuntin answers:

I have used unfiltered apple cider vinegar for many thinks, internal and external with much success. That said, I have never had the misfortune of a penile yeast infection. For external uses, I use it as a dandruff rinse ever 2 months and it is amazing stuff for that. Have also used it for sunburns. It “seems” like a contradiction to use it in this way, so you will get many naysayers putting their 2 cents in about it.
If you do decide to use it, you would definitely need to DILUTE it! In a very shallow bath (just enough water to cover your part(s), add a cup of apple cider vinegar, and swish the water around for a few minutes… You can easily get up and rinse off if it’s too painful. If it’s bearable, and one more cup, and just soak for about 30 minutes. Be sure to expose all parts you need to.

Do not use white vinegar… Only unfiltered apple cider. I use Braggs Hope you feel better.

simonbuntin answers:

That might be the worst thing for it. That is because vinegar has yeast in it. You have to avoid all foods and beverages which could have yeast or any cultured type product within them to clear it up. Some of these infections are very recalcitrant and despite medication take quite a while to improve. Avoid bread and bakeries as well. If you want to use apple, just juice a fresh apple and dab it on with clean cotton cloth.

simonbuntin answers:

I think it’s a bit of a contradiction to do both. The apple cider vinegar is a very natural treatment, and you certainly can’t say that for the pharmaceutical treatment. I would look carefully at the ingredients as most body care products are full of chemical preservatives and petroleum products that are not good for your skin or your health. The apple cider vinegar should more than be enough to clear up your yeast. I have another suggestion if your UTI is recurring. Until recently I was a big fan of cranberry capsules or extract to treat a UTI…and cranberry is still a good choice. I have a close friend that suffers with chronic UTI issues. In doing some research for her I discovered something called D-Mannose. D-Mannose is a naturally occurring simple sugar which attracts bacteria as it passes through the bladder and kidneys, and then is eliminated when you pee. The latest research shows that it can be anywhere between 10-50 times more effective than cranberry capsules in treating the type of bacteria that causes 80-90% of UTI infections. Just thought I’d share that. Good luck and be well.

Every time he goes on it (of course, he has a hard time staying on it for long) his symptoms disappear.
Just like every person’s digestive system is a little different (some people are lactose intolerant, etc.), every person’s reflux disease is going to be a little different. Some foods like the ones you mentioned are the worst offenders. Some things help most people as well, such as elevating the head of the bed with cinder blocks and/or using several pillows, not eating at least 5 hours before bed, avoiding carbonated beverages (colas, etc.) before bed, and having something like Tums handy for sudden attacks. I assume he’s already on a good H2 blocker like Pepsid, etc. Keep in mind that some H2 blockers work better than others for certain people, so if all else fails, try a different medicine.

The next thing he should do is keep a diet diary by his bedside. Make a list of what he’s eaten and when, then if he has an attack he can begin to relate it to what he’s eaten. Onions and cucumbers are bad for me, for example. Also, I eat saltine crackers just before I go to sleep and that helps. Plain cake, like Twinkies, can help me too. Milk, although it sounds like it should help, is terrible for me. Just have him keep a list and be patient.

Hope this helps you form a plan that works!

My son was on Zantac for a while. IT worked at first, but then seemed to not help and then to aggravate the reflux more. I’ve heard that that is common with Zantac, that you have to keep upping the dose for it to work. I eventually took him off of it completely and it cleared on it’s own. I know people whose kids have been on Prevacid and didn’t have the same problems as Zantac. Our pharmacist said he has had the best luck combining the two medications. All in all, it’s up to your doctor, but if one doesnt’ seem to be working, speak up! Most babies will outgrow it eventually, but if your baby is having trouble gaining weight because of it, you’ll definatley want him on something. The reflux never went away completely when he was on medication, but it wasn’t as much or as often as it was without it. Good luck!

We just started priolosec and a month later we think his weight has slowed down and malabsorbing again…what is the deal? The doctors will not even consider this as an option and we are so frustrated. He needs the medicine or he won’t eat because he hurts but at the same time he may not be gaining as much while on these….help!

Mine has been on meds (Zantac) since 8 weeks, he is now 4 mos 3 weeks.

He was spitting up, had wet burps, hiccups 4+ times a day but was still gaining weight because he was taking 34 or more ozs of formula a day. Doc said he was drinking more than he should have to soothe his throat. He was 7lbs 10 ozs at birth and weighed 13 lbs 10 ozs at 8 weeks.

He also would wake during naps after about 10 mins and the doc said that was due to him refluxing when he was laying down. I also have been putting cereal in his bottle since 8 weeks to help keep his milk down. His doctor suggested I put 1 teaspoon of cereal per ounce of formula, but I can’t stand the thoughts of him drinking sludge so I have been putting 3 teaspoons per 6 oz bottle, which seems to be working fine.

My son had to be put on medicine when he was 2 months old for that also. He never got cranky but he hated the taste of the medicine. Is the medicine working for the acid reflux. It might not be, maybe its bothering him. It could be the acid coming up and burning him. If he spits up alot maybe he isn’t staying full and its making him hungry. I would consult with your doctor to make sure. They ended up switching him from Zantac to Prevacid which works better. Never hurts to ask! Hope things improve I know how frustrating it is, Good Luck!

What kind of Medicines do they give babies for Acid Reflux?

I was just told that my 11 day old baby has Acid Reflux. What kind of medicines do they usually give babies for that and how do you give it to them?
The Doctors said he has Acid Reflux. I am wondering what medicines are given. Currently he pukes up every thing. We’ve tried all brand of formulas including soy and lactose free. Also tried breast milk. He pukes it all up.

My son was on Zantac for acid reflux. I was instructed to give it to him full-strength from a syringe. That didn’t work so well, so I did it just the way Beckers said.

Depending on how much pain it’s causing him, the doctor may not prescribe anything. There are also other things you can do to help alleviate the reflux:

-keep him upright for at least 30 minutes after eating
-feed him half as much, twice as often
-burp after every ounce or two he drinks (that’s the advice, but personally, it made matters worse for my son)
-incline the head of his sleeping surface 30 degrees
-over the counter gas relief drops, like Mylicon

I hope he feels better soon.

Edit–I just read you additional info. How’s his weight gain? What did the doctors say they were going to do? Any more tests or anything? Did they say whether they were going to give him some medicine?

It’s my understanding (and my experience with it) that the acid reducers like Zantac don’t really keep them from spitting up, or reduce the volume of spit-up. I think they just neutralize some of the stomach acid so that when they do spit up, it doesn’t burn the esophogas so bad. I’m not a medical person, so I couldn’t tell you all about how the medications work, but that’s how it seemed to me.

Does spitting up seem to hurt or bother him? I’m not sure if you’ve already tried them, but there are formulas out there that are specifically made for reflux. Sometimes it’s recommended to add some infant cereal to the bottle to help weigh the milk down and keep it down. Of course, discuss it with your doctor before switching formulas or adding any cereal.

I really hope the little guy feels better soon!
